May 23, 6:00-6:45pm – Harvest by Dmae Roberts, performed by Jane Vogel Mantiri, has been rewritten to address the return of exclusion and yellow peril fear amid COVID-19 pandemic fears. The piece details four generations of an Asian American reflects on family history with Oregon’s exclusion laws. The performance and panel discussion will be with Linda Tamura, professor emerita of Willamette University and author of “The Hood River Issei” and Dmae Roberts of MediaRites will lead a conversation.
